After a complete patient survey, detailed exams of the heart and lungs are carried out:
- Pulse and blood pressure measurement
- ECG
- X-ray of the thorax
- Heart ultrasound
- Laboratory exam (blood tests)
- Optional: CT, MRI and heart catheter (if the previous diagnosis was not sufficient)
